XCute DV1 Product Reviews
Peter Does anyone else have this problem when setting your mp3 ringtone?
1. I plugged in my SD card into the computer and cut out a 11sec mp3 song, 62 bit rate.
2. Put it into the ringtone folder on the memory card.
3. Stuck the memorycard back into my phone and moved the .mp3 from the memory card to the phone memory.
The mp3 appears on my sounds list in the phone memory, and in the audio player, but I cannot set it as a ringtone. Can anyone help me with this?
Usman Nice Design,Smart look,Better FM Reception,Quality Loud Speaker,Sufficent Memory...n becomes more better if Nokia guys put BT and strong IR.
the only most irritating is the message " ! IR Connection Failure"
jazz does anyone know that when the VK2020 is being charged, you cannot make calls at the same time. actually you can....but you can't hear the other person on the other line. But once you pull out the charger you can.
Also there is a problem with my auto redial, it seems to redial the last Dialled Call, over and over again.
Anyone with similiar problems?
Simon A. Baskerville Fantastic phone!
I used to have the SL10 and that phone was amazing, it was a lot more futuristic than the SL55. I do think Siemens are lacking in colour screen technology at the moment, especially since they were one of the first/if not the first company to incorporate a colour screen into a phone? With only 4096 colours it does lack in this department, and the lack of a camera built in is a downler. However with all this said, its still an amazing phone, a friend of mine's got one, and I am hoping to have one very soon! The size of the phone is unbelieveable, and the features are great, a shame bluetooth isnt included though.
In my experiance, Siemens have proven to last longet than any other phone manufacturer, and the amount of times Ive dropped my SL10 & MT50, and they have not ever given me any problems. I would most definatley recomment this phone to anyone, its just a shame Siemens didnt wait a while longet to release it, they could have included so much more.

Koureas G Probably you have the newest firmware v3.94 but a previous fixed bug is back in this firmware. The bug is the power saving time bar that appears after the screen saver, this really does save power however the bar should move from top to middle to bottom of the screen every few seconds, this is to prevent the bar from burning out on the screen. In v3.94 the bar does not move, as a result it burns out the image on the screen, which is visible on darker backgrounds/images etc.
Basically it’s damaging the LCD screen!!!
Nokia made a big mistake to release this faulty phone and rip off people.
The worst phone of 8-series.

3350 I tried on 3350 and find it's a better phone than the predessor 3330. The only problem with the 3 series phone is that the phone do not have the internal battery back-up. The clock must always reset whenever need to change battery, I really don't understand why this small problem that Nokia still not recognising.
