Toshiba TS705 Product Reviews

George M Swan

asked about GPRS access through the phone..

Yes it can be done... First you need to buy it's usb cable install the connectivity drivers for it then follow the setup wizard to establish a connection, with a 3G network it can achieve download speeds of 348kb/s, with a standard GSM network it can muster a modest 115kb/s through GPRS

SIDD Hi Friends,

I am from India. Well! after reading all the opinions over here, I felt I shouldn't be buying this phone. Somehow, I counldn't resist and managed to purchase the phone. This is a good phone and till date, ONLY ONE REBOOT while changing the theme. I have added a 2GB memory card and no issues so far. Others complained, while playing songs the phone would reboot or freeze. Hmmmm....no issues so far. FRIENDS, this is a good phone, HOWEVER, I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SLIDER, the slider has some play and I don't know why should there be any play in the slider. When I say play, that means, the slider moves a very very very very little bit to left and right. DO ALL OTHER USERS HAVE THE SAME ISSUE.

I have studied in and out of this phone now and if any body has any issues with this phone, you are welcome to write at cyberchamp@gmail.com

Guys!!! come on don't compare SE with Nokia. Nokia and SE both have some bad things about there handsets. I have used many latest SE handsets and trust me all handsets have some or the other problems (software, hardware or feature wise). You can NEVER, EVER get a 100% perfect handset. Stick to the one you have or else go for any brand handset which has enough features to meet your needs. But please don't look for 100% perfect handset, or else you won't find one.

<unknown> Absolutely gorgeous phone.
It's a pity that most manufacturers roll out bigger and bulkier sets and forget that most of us need just the opposite: phones without cameras, radios etc...that are easy too carry around...
Nokia 6100 still rules...

Faisel Why is this fone still worth a Bomb?!!! £713 is the price I saw for this fone, why does it cost sooooo much, it's nothing compared to the N70 and still it's worth a fortune, more than the 8800!!!!!!! Sum 1 destroy this fone, please!!!!!!

Gbenga I meant to say "why such a [large] TFT screen"? Yeah, I know that most phones have TFT screens, duuhh...

Cj Hi can any1 tell me when this phone will be out on Mtn(they said in 2 weeks, but that was two weeks ago) its out on vodacom but I dont want to switch networks oh and any words of wisdom about this phone in your personal opinion is it a nice phone or should i rather go for samsung z500(samsung lover so i have a limited choice :( )

ssk is there no option for minute minder(while calling) in k300?
