IMMY This fone is one of the best in term of using symbian software.I've used pdas on daily basis, but this fone is business/casual day usage mobile. 9/10 any day.

Casey I've had S55 for two years and am really pleased with it. The functions of the phone are both great for business and personal use. The menus are very well designed and user friendly. You can search easily and fast in the phone book. The keypad is great for typing measages. IT IS EVEN WATERPROOF!! I never used a phone cover but it is still like new.

Maria I have a problem with this phone.
I buy it 7 day's ago and i charged and the baterry is off in 2 days. ANOTHER problem is that phone begins to vibrate and he's closing and i have to remove the baterry and putt it back if i whant that phone to work.
He make's that 2 time's a day.

suexilin I'm really a fan of this phone. Easy to use, but it gives you so many possibilities. It has functions that other phones have for a much higher price. Downloaded Opera mini and now surfing the net is an absolute pleasure.

But only a month and a half after i bought it the vibration ( silent alert) disappeared. ??? Strange. I haven't dropped the phone...haven't sat on it on spilt my coffee on the keys...Tried everything, taking the battery out, powering off and on...even the self test ( *#06# , and than press "more" until you get to the self test) but the vibration still was gone.
Today morning i called the hotline on the benq-siemens website, explained my problem, and got a phone number of a repair center in my district in Beijing.
Went to see them in the afternoon, and the service was excellent. Friendly receptionist, all smiles and efficiency, and !0 minutes later a young woman in a white lab coat emerged from the inside carrying back my phone saying that it's ok now. I didn't really understand why the vibration had disappeared, tried to ask but the technician wouldn't go into details, said only ( approximate translation ) : "something inside got loose ( moved a bit ) and now we've got it back on its place."
I asked :"will it happen again?"
the answer was:" you never know with mobile phones." True,,,,but still...I bought it only seven weeks ago!
Hmmmmm...I'm still liking it a lot, and pray for no nasty surprises.
My previous Nokia 3100 has been dropped, stepped on, gathered in pieces from under tables and stairs, and never a problem. Maybe just luck....my friend's 3100 has a creative spirit and mixes text messages. It takes the first part from today's sms and puts it it the end of a message from last month. Entertaining.

Its nice phone and filling great having it out of various choices I could make.
It could be more pleasure if I can have its accessories like ear phone equiped with Mic in my pack.
Please let me know if its there in the market (but not found in TZ) or strictly you dont make it.
Ive been going thru diff shops looking for it but no one have ever said have/seen it.
