<unknown> Have had this phone for about 10 months now, a real let down.

It has a really slow T9 rate, so that if you write something incorrectly, you have to go back and erase the entire word and then reenter it.

My charger connector has broken twice and it is now going in for its second repair :(

I wrote Panasonic a letter, but they can't refund it because they call it a limited warranty or something :S

Another bad point is that it is really soft, i mean i can be in a room that is right next door to my phone and i can't hear it ring :(:(:(

Also, Panaosnic doesn't provide a handset manager, so the $70 AU i spent on it was basically a waste because if you want to send all your pictures, you have to go throught individually and do it :(

Please do not buy this phone, buy a nokia, Nokia has always been a good brand and when this X400 dies, i am going to get a nokia flipphone

brainstorm For those who can't edit the sms. In order to edit the sms, you need to upgrade your firmware. I upgraded my firmware and now able to edit received sms before forwarding out. The phone now also allow storing of received phone number to your address book and can insert your address book phone number into your sms. Must upgrade!!

no you dont need the original headphones to use the radio. because unlike some of the other phones out there, E2's radio antenna is not on it's headphones. =]

Sander Yes, using a laptop is definitely an option, but I don't have one.

So for every wav ringtone I want to use, I have to send it to a friend who has a laptop, get over there with the cellphone and transfer it over irda. Not worth the trouble in my opinion.

Oh well, after a few weeks the phone is nothing but a "phone" anyway, in the end all the little bells and whistles are quite unnecessary for the casual user.

this version is only available in Hong Kong bcoz there is a unlocker which provides no sound shutter and inserting games into the sd card... my euro version also can do these things..
