Explore Hi guys, me again.
So I went and baught this Z400. Its a very nice phone but i am having some difficulty in setting reminders for birthdays.In the user guide it is said that: "you can retrieve person's birthday information from contacts by pressing and selecting birthday from contacts" .... however, when I do this I get the message "service unavailable". Also when I open the PC studio that is supplied on the data disc there is 3 functions that is greyed out and unusable. These are
1-manage contacts and more
2-manage messages
3-compose multimedia messages
I also have the same problem as mcf120 in that I cant figure out how to set my own message alert tone.
I hope there's somebody out there that can help me with these problems since not even the samsung technical support staff here in South Africa seems to be able to do it.
fido dido absolutely the best, almost three years with me, only a few days i had the courage to submerge it for about 3 seconds in water, i took it out and it was still working perfectly, really amazing phone, i don't care about all the new applications..... the me75 will be out soon, maybe i will buy it, let's wait and see....

Mike NOTE:
I don't count on camera in any phone brand,
simply because there is no normal optics, sensors (except for Panasonic's phones, because Panasonic does manufacture its own sensor) or camera features in any cell. phone today.
But in terms of Small memory MP3 players there is a huge progress! In this case Samsung is one step ahead of Nokia , because no Nokia phone has a Stereo Bluetooth yet!

siemens user SL55 was the first beautiful designed slides phone in the market....but i think there's a samsung model earlier with the slide phone concepts.

i loved my old s57, now i am using v3x...n motorola's firmware i gotta say......sigh.....disappointed......anyway function's cool though...i am looking to switch back to siemens when it is the right time....who knows maybe sl91 is the answer =P
