christos NO LUCK with infrared.Today I asked the official service, to learn that the IR port cannt be used for data between mobiles, nor for sending data as photos to your pc, as they told me it is only for the phone list. THANKS FOR NOTHING SAMSUNG...!!!
Pavan This is a sad phone... six months of usage and joy stick is gone for a toss . Navigation is tough and really sad is not the phone. My advice is not to buy if any one is looking forward to purchase

Gareth I have had this phone for over 3 months now I got it off my brother who never used it. It's great because I only need to call people. Who cares if you can't download "ringtones" I don't like them. They infect your phone and there not reliable I hate ringtones. My brothers got a Motorola now so i own my Siemens A40 and will keep it.
jess well i have the nokia 3300 for about 2 years now and it is still going good i think this is a great phone and im ahppy with it......its just a bit crap compared to the newer models that have been coming out
