emmaline hi. i've been using treo 600 for almost 6 months. but still, i am not enjoying the liberty of using its gprs. can you please give me some instrcuctions on how to activate it on my phone? forgive me for my being "slow mo" in technology. i used to being spoonfed before, that's why. i look forward to hear from you soon. thanks a lot!

Grieving_6020 This mobile is good except that it sucks in areas listed:

1) Most ridiculous feature: the stupid joystick answers your calls no matter how you configure it. You have to hold the phone in your hand! or else the joystick might be touched and you will be answering a call unknowingly.

2) Dust get in the inner screen. No! dont waste your time, the dust gets back in no time, once you open the cover and clean

If you can forget these irritating features, you could say it's a nice mobile.

Wilco I bought the phone a month ago. I was mugged yesterday, and told them that the phone was not worth stealing. I was glad when they took it anyway.

Every time I went to send an MMS, the text would never send through. I took a photo of a blue shirt, from a metre away. The photo turned out white. The camera is very poor quality.

The back of the battery cover comes off very easily, and after the backing has fallen off once, every time a key is pushed down it makes a squeaking noise.

The ring volume is crazily low, and for some reason half of the tones you will download will be less than 40% of the volume of the tones that come with the phone.

In terms of SMS, I don't know about anyone else, but sometimes you just want a quiet, short message alert, and there is no simple beep you can use. All of the message alerts go for a fairly long time, and are horribly irritating. The "silent" option means that your phone will vibrate loudly every couple of seconds until you open it up and acknowledge the message. It's actually louder than most of the ringtones I used to use.

I strongly suggest you avoid this phone, unless you have a secret plan to drive yourself insane through frustration. And an inability to contact people when you need to because of how fast the battery dies.

well, i would just recommend you to have NOKIA 3250, its functions are superb and one of the best...


i have this phone and the functions are so far lefty behind.... so go for 3250

Worth it, I would say its a perfect match for who really use the cellphones frequently.
IRDA and DKU-5 Connectivity makes downloading Java based applicatons Fast and Easy.
Still need to find ringtones which are as good as the preloaded one's

Would certainly recommend.........
