Shaun Kan I just buy this phone one week ago, it is a nice clampshell phone with rich colours and camera but lack of communication method because it don't have bluetooth and even infrared and don't have java support either. The package doesn't include usb data cable, you have to find it yourself and the local dealer say it will come around one month later..so bad. Untill now I still searching for the cable for transfering ringtones and picture to my ot835..but have to wait..can't find the cable yet..someone please help me!!!

B.Crowe I bought the Z500 about 1 month ago and had nothing but problem after problem. These are a few of them:
1. When you flip open the lid and say" hello" the person on the
other end does NOT hear you. After saying hello 2 or 3 times
they might hear hello. I think they have a software glitch.
2. The display goes DARK right away.If you need to push the keypad to reach customer no-service at Cingular(which you will be doing forever if you buy this phone) you will have to start the call again.
3. The signal where I live and work makes "mobile service" very frustrating.
