Have had phone for about a month. You can't buy a new battery either here in US or in UK (I haven't yet searched for in in the other countries). The users manual is virtually useless. It is designated "short version" however there is no "long" or "full" version. Benq-siemens offers no support in the US but you can call the UK (for $1.35/minute for the advice) plus the cost of the overseas call for help. One would think that the seller of a battery driven device would make the battery available and not charge for support when there is no meaningful users manual.

But it sure is pretty.

anwar aside from recieving and making calls, i can do nothing else with it. blue tooth is none functional, cannot transfer data, mail, fax,or link with other phones or my computor. in lame mans terms, a peice of sh#@#%$#1!!!. and hey, i have two of them. i feel so stupid. no one informed me that this phone does not have these features when i purchased it// is there software to upgrade this problem.

cezar jeen, the phone has unlimited video recording capability. its time is memory dependent. just like all other SE phones.

matt I had this phone and its the worst phone i have ever used, i bought a siemens then and gave this phone to my brother...He gave it away as its crap.
Too slow, no hot keys, sms's are annoying tasks, unlike other phones. Its just not designed to be used like i want to use it.
Its crap with no features, Some people say some siemens phones were the worst ever made...I dissagree ive used them all and i think the sony T100 is definatley the worst ever made.

Better go and upgrade your firmware. The latest to date I think is VF_14.
To check firmware version, off and on the phone then quickly type *#9999# .
Chinese inputs are pre-installed in VS2 so logically there's no problem.

Sorry man, it's impossible to replace the casing by yourself for all I've known. Return it to the service center and let them do the job for you.
Painting is possible, but colors may be not as even as you would expect.
