Samsung S342i Product Reviews

Marcio I would like to ask an advice to the gentlemen or ladies who say that this phone should have features like mp3,bluetooth,fm radio to really be in with a chance of selling, and other screen besides stn, etc…

If you can advice me a mobile with all these features and for the same price as Philips 568, please tell me!!! I will buy a new one! After all…you seem to be the experts (or not!!! )

About this equipment model, one thing that I think it’s missing it’s a way to transfer the data, without buying an expensive cable, or spending money sending mms.

Charlene Does it have a speaker phone fascility .

motoA732 OWNER i was in taiwan and bought this phone to bring back to the US for my own use. gotta say "I LOVE IT". finger writing on the keypad works wonders. it defaults to chinese first, and to change to english, all you have to do is write a line across from keypad #4-#6 and back to #4 in one motion. along with voice command, i use it all the time while looking up numbers in yellow pages and just reading it right off the page without have to stop and key in numbers than look back and the yellow page! voice commands for number dialing also have a traning session for it, i had to go in the read off several sets of numbers for the phone to recognize my voice in order to tell what i am saying! its really a smart phone.
VGA is definately a dissapointment. I would only take pictures under lots of lighting and bright envoirnment, quality is wonderful. but when taking pictures in dark, its horrible.
feel free to ask me if you are curious about this phone!

<unknown> THis is the no filp version on the my c5-2

Kaushal Khona After having samsung as my first mobile way back in mid 1999, I purchased my first Nokia in end of 2000. And 8210 was my first nokia.

In those days it was one of the most expensive nokias & looked extremely delicate & rich.

Even with the small size, the usage was very comfortable. wtiring long sms was no problem. The keyboard had a very nice feel.

Heads used to turn, whenever I used this phone.

Phone speed was very good & voice clarity was excellent. Signal strength was damn good. Only glitch i found was the body cover, used to wear off after a few months, so had to change it quite a few times. But thats ok.

The phone was extremely strong, & it had fell a few times, but still worked ok.

I used this phone for 2 years, the longest period I used any single phone till date. Finally gave it to my dad, when I purchased Samsung Blue i in 2003. And we sold it off in mid 2004, when the phone had started to give a few probs, like low ringtone volume.

But I must say, one of the best handsets ever made by nokia. And I hope Nokia gets this design n size back with features of N Series.

<unknown> hi, i want to know if this phone is worth buying cu i need a fone for the bmw x5 bluetooth handset and this can be used so shud i used the Sony Ericsson T630 or the Sony Ericsson T610?

willstay As someone just mentioned M1000 (few posts down), I wonder how this model has not been listed in gsmarena. A1000 and M1000 share similar features but in one website I saw M1000 is said to have WiFi.

Eric I agree completely with Sergio
sergio@icon.co.za (look his opinion from january 10), but want to add 1 more thing: Why can't this wonderful thing show picture messages when all other cheaper Nokias can???
Nokia should (MUST) do something to that!!!

Jason This could be bat mans mobile!

sanjay bahadur i loved this phone!! Nokia should make a newer imporved version with features such as blue tooth, camera and a colour screen. Please nokia make a newer one!!!!
