Ancient Good phone , no comment.
AW Had the Audiovox (UTStarcom) version of this phone - SMT5600 - Thought it a great package complete with every feature one could ask for in a cellular handset. Spec, by today's standard, aren't top of the line, but, no slouch, neither. Unfortunately, reception for me was sub-standard. Had to exchange the unit twice. Also, the 5-way button is a pain in the backside when trying to push in to select an option. As a result, I traded it for the S-E w810. Pity... As I really liked this phone :-\

<unknown> For everyday business, it's really dependable phone. Please do not expect mms, camera, gprs, wap on this phone, it is not designed for those purposes. I could say that it may be color version of Nokia 3210/3310/3330 with more basic benefits.
Anyone may have problem with the pre-downloaded themes/ringtones, it is understandable because the themes/ringtones of Nokia 2600 depend on the countries. So, I suggest to go to Nokia Service Centre to get different ones or buy in any preferable shops.

Yousuf H Siddiqui Well the m stands for Music! The only difference between SP5 and SP5m is that the m one has 4 extra buttons just above the keypad to control music. The shape is different too! I personally like the SP5 better because of its elegant design and shape! As far as the features are concerned everythings same! I am buying one tomorrow hopefully!! This phone truely is the best until now!

This phone from Philips is really neat! The design is simple and classic, somewhat conservative though, but i like it. It's not flashy but it looks decent. You'll know people will take you seriously when they see you flip it out from you pocket. It's not feature packed like the newer models nowadays but it serves its purpose which is calling and texting. Maybe a built in camera, a video recorder or an FM radio tuner could've made this phone a perfect 10. performance-wise, it has great battery life which ideal when travelling.
