The best function on LGU8380 is the record button process, If i don't have a pen on me and someone wants to give me there number or address while im on the phone (I simply tell them) im recording the number using modern technology. So hope all your phone don't change what is working. If it aint broke dont fix it.
michaelfun I just bought this phone and it is a nice phone to use it. Though the Nokia guys and our local telco guys told me this phone does not support chinese Text, i stil but it. But i tell you, they are so damn wrong, this phone actually has Chinese text support!

Ok its like this
You have to dial this number *#3695147*#
then you go to network & call settings
then go to service domain
and select CS
that is to turn of the GPRS, GPRS will be activated automatically when needed like to send a MMS, and will go out automatically as well.

Katie This is my 2nd Siemens phone, the first one broke with with no explanation. I replaced it with this phone. The phone works great as long as you don't use it. I had this phone for two weeks before the menu buttons broke. Then it would turn off for no reason. Then the phone would ring and I would press the talk button and it would hang up on the person and keep ringing unitl I took the battery out of the back. Maybe I was sold a demented phone but I was NOT happy at all with either of my Siemens phones!!!
