V Wondering if you guys can asnwer a few questions about the phone. When you use your Bluetooth headset, does it use the MP3 ringtones you assign? OR does it use a stock ringer instead?

S.Schouman I've bought my sx45i about two months ago and it's even better than expected. The screen is large and very clear and the built in phone works great; even when on the move the sound stays crisp and there's no background noise. Because the sx45 has only 32 mb of internal memory the two expansion slots (sd/mmc and cf slot) are a perfect solution. The device has some drawbacks too of which some have been solved by Siemens with a free upgrade on the Siemens site. Unfortunately you can't solve the size, weight or battery life with an upgrade so that's something you'll have to learn to live with. Also it's a shame Siemens doesn't include a docking station with the sx45 like most manufacturers do. The dockingstation can be bought seperately for about 100 euro's which is a bit expensive. The phone can only be used with the headset that comes with the device which I think is a bit clumsy. You either have to walk around with the headset constantly attached to the sx45 or take the chance of being called but not being able to answer the phone. Batterylife is about two hours when using the phone or the pda and it's clear the screen consumes most power. I've downloaded a simple program that allows me to switch the screen of while listening to mp3's or when I'm using the phone and this really helps. Standby time is about 150 hours which I think is good.
In my opinion the sx45 is one of the best pocketpc's available at this moment though it's not perfect.

ks no wifi? no cardslot? Waste of money, if it wasnt for Blackberry's monopoly through businesses, no one would buy these pieces of plastic. Get a real smart phone.

mel what is it people dont get about this phone this is phone designed for people who just want to make calls and send texts also people working to a tight budget. good on nokia for not forgetting these people who just happen to make up 40% of the mobile phone market why are you people even looking at this phone since your all obviously loaded and want something top of the range go and look at the likes of the N90 and leave this lovely little basic phone alone
