Graham Last week I stated my intention to buy, having weighed up that this phone would be a better option than the Motorola V3x.

Having had it for two days I can say that so far I'm really happy with my purchase. Physically it's a beautiful object. In features it has a good range and is good value for money, and it performs excellently.

Easy to use user-interface, good quality photos, bluetooth data transfer is easy, mp3s play at a reasonable standard, all the extras are there you'd expect.

Yet to try out the Mobile TV or use the phone as a modem. I should add that the customer service I've received from Vodaphone has been good too.

"the phone breaks on me in a week"?

Simple response, cause you dont take care of it. Answer these questions. How many times have you dropped it, how many times do you put it in your pockets with your keys next to them so you could scratch the phone, do you have fun using it as a football?

I just got the phone a few days ago. You cannot judge a phone by only having it for a few weeks. Like everything else that is mechanical, it breaks down in time. So the only real question about this phone is does it last, and nobody has been able to answer it. Why? Because they dont give it a chance.

I agree that a basic phone like this one costing over 300$ canadian is a little on the expensive side, but I still bought it for its simplicity and its looks. So far i'm very happy with what i got. I dont need my phone to have extensive memory for music, I have my ipod for that. I dont need my phone to morph into a leperchaun or do flips.

All in all, good phone, user friendly, the flat buttons was a little odd at first but you get the hang of it really fast. The auto flip is really cool. The only thing i didnt enjoy so far about the whole phone package was that crappy ear peice they give you. I had one for my old V400, complete peice of ****. Buy the LG ear peice or just go with bluetooth, I rather have the ear peice, alot cheaper.

Simone I have been using this phone for about 7 months and my mum used it for a while before...it is a really bad phone, its too slow to write sms's, lately I cant send sms's, the phone freezes in the middle of writing sms's and then I have to put the phone off and put it on again to continue with the sms. And now I find it hard to get reception and keep it. I hate this phone now and cant wait to get a new one. Whats with the silly clip thing on the top...looks like some sort of handle bar, its ugly.
