Updated the firmware thru nokia software updater. Anybody can try.
But ONE problem still remains: The capturing video using my Kingston 512MB RS-DV-MMC, it stucks up and plays the same while with default 64MB MMC(that came with my handset) is OK. Can anybody give me any solution? PLease HELP

cool_dude This phone is quite cheap for its class but if you use the joystick frequently, it will be insensitive. I'm having this problem now especially when I play games on my phone. Other than that, the camera shutter sound cannot be shut off so you might want to think twice before buying this phone. I have been using this phone only for 6 months and problems already seem to be popping up. Sometimes, your phone can even jam! I consider buying Sagem MY X6-2 because it's cheap and good at the same time. Anyone care to join me? Hehe.....

Reena My first Samsung handphone after 5 years using Nokia brand. Luv the size, polyphonic tones, colour(pearl white) and design!! BUT..just own it for 8 months..already have major problem with the LCD screen. The external screen will suddenly 'disappear' while i'm using the phone to make calls or sending SMS!!At certain time..the internal screen would also created the same problem. I have to turn it OFF and ON it again to get it back to normal. Can somebody tell me wether this A800 phone can download ringtones? I'm getting bord with the original tones!!..overall..the 'cover' look is a lot more better than Nokia but for it's functionality, durability n quality...i think Samsung needs to upgrade it!!
Richard I bought this piece of dung for $300.00. I've had nothing but trouble with it ever since. It's almost impossible to charge, I have to connect the charger over and over again before it will actually start charging if ever. After a year and a few days it became impossible to hear the caller. I know 3 other people that had the same phone and had the same problem. (And after reading these reviews I now know many, many more!) I called Motorola and fought with them for three days before they agreed to fix it. They ended up replacing the top portion (with the ear speaker in it). It took me two weeks to get it back. They then tried to bill me for a replacement phone through my carrier; T-Mobile and I had to fight for three days to get that charge reversed. After a few months I had the same problem not being able to hear. When I called they informed me that it was out of warranty and I would be charged to repair it. Charge for what? To have it break in another 3 months again? I have had cell phones for many years and have always taken whatever free Nokia that was being offered at the time and never had a problem with them. They still work fine to this date years later! For once I thought I would treat myself and BUY a "cutting edge" phone and got suckered out of $300.00 for a Motorola piece of garbage and it has been problems from day one. Motorola makes garbage, charges top dollar for it, and won't stand behind it when you have a problem with it. Their customer service sucks; all they know how to say is "there will be a charge for repair". If you can understand them when they say it. NEVER!!!! NEVER MOTOROLA AGAIN!!!
