Sagem MY X-8 Product Reviews
Deepak I bought the SE K608i three days ago and the phone seemed like a great deal until I discovered a problem with its Phone Book functionality. It basically matches incoming/outgoing numbers to contact names by using the last 7 digits of the numbers. If you have 2 contacts with phone numbers where the last 7 digits match, it messes up. Here in India cel operators offer similar phone numbers to existing customers and there are may, many people who have phone numbers where only the first few digits differ (for example, 98xxxxxxxx and 99xxxxxxxx). This has ruined my experience with the K608i. I'd be glad if someone could offer a solution.
Here's how you can recreate the problem on your set:
Create and save a contact called Moe with the mobile number 9812345678.
Create and save another contact called Joe with the mobile number 9912345678.
Now go to the standby screen and dial the number 9912345678 manually. According to our Contact List, this number belongs to Joe. But when you dial it, the phone displays Moe. Similarly, when you receive an incoming call from Joe's numner (9912345678) the phone displays Moe again.
Tony It has 65.000 colours, 640x480 VGA with video, bluetooth, 2 screens, the design is nice and i like it's options in the menu a lot. And the price is very good. So stop comparing it to other phones, check the price first. You can't have it all for nothing.
<unknown> So when is it out? 3rd quarter is so vague I'm stuck between waiting for this and going for the E900 (chocolate type)

Andy I have just changed my mobile from samsung USB connection to Qualcomm USB connection and it seems to have considerably speeded up the transferring files to and from the phone!
dimitris in greece comes with a 32mb card. it can easily support a 512mb card but it'll get a bit slow with so much data on it...
it can play mp3 files "with" the headset.
from my experience, i never needed bigger than a 512 card. when i take pictures (hao many...lets say 100) i download them to my pc.Then my card is free of memory again.
If ia download mp3s i'll listen to, for 1,2,3,4,5, times then i get bord and delete right away so... no need of larger memory card. its o phone don t forget it...
Oh!! it does have changeble covers afterall.. nice!!! :-))
more in 7 days...
Widma This phone is very good, but it has very small memory how can i enlarge it? help me please:)
nkt this phone is the low class 3G phone....memory not enough. i cant connect to pc using irda... but i someone tould me must change the irda speed to 115.2kb... emmm.... i still not yet test it... can someone send me the GThing software??? when download need the IMEI..and $$$$...so...pls help me... :)
Cezar To all SE Guyz i have something to share to all of you..
*if you ever saw pictures of K800 beaten by N73/n93(as most people implies) here in gsmarena or mobile-review.com and many many web sites, look at these website which was posted august 12, 2006(as the date implies, firmwares of all this devices are in final already) taken by a photographer from Fotomobieltje.nl,,,
here is the site:
http://www.newmobile.nl/eur/en...ws_id=caf44e
you can look at it's original size and jusge it..
but NEWAY:
the pictures will no show prototype versions as it is posted already after it is released... the pictures taken by N73 here and that site shows what image experts(maybe) and me says:
N73 has too high sharpness so it makes unreal photos while K800 has unusual smooth photos but excels much in color than nokia:
For Nokia Guyz:
this is also a review from a mobile photography site so don't wonder pictures are NOT Fake...
michael can anyone tell me if 1gb transflash is compatable with this hand set. info needed fast if poss. cheers
