Tayo there is no icon for reading sms on siemens s40 and also there is no sign of incoming sms if there is please the procedure to me my is not having i have to make use of another phone to read my sms i will be very gratefull if you can send it thanks very muck

martianunlimited I had this phone close to 2 years already. I have to agree with the comments about it's build quality. This phone is not meant to take abuse. (my back panel fell apart after a few drops)

Pro: price vs feature (2 years ago, where can you get a GPRS, MMS, Java, Color phone for around USD 120)

Cons: build quality (but to be fair i subjected it to more than reasonable amount of abuse)
lag in the response (if you dial too fast you are going to end up dialing the wrong number)
ringtone /alarm volume/ vibration ... too soft for me

I don't regret my purchase, It has served me well for 2 years already, but i am definately thinking twice about getting another siemens to replace this phone when it is time to change it

sean other then with using bluetooth, how do you send photos from the v80 to an email address, or basically just get photos from the v80 onto the computer?

rocky Yeah you can use games and apps and themes made for K750 and W800, it works well, these are basically the same phones and yes I also think the limit of 200 sms is ridiculous, with so much internal memory it should be unlimited.

melissa well it has been 2 yrs(wen it was just launched in my country) that i have been using this phone!i must say that it is a gud 1 with gud features though the screen burst after using it 4 1 yr but after i changed the screen,it is working fine since then!the sound n cam are the best features that this phone has!no other phones can beat the pic quality it got!i wont be denying that it got its own share of problem but come on pple which phone doesnt have any prob?samsung rocks n this week am going to pamper myself by getting an all new samsung mobile!

you could take melodie and vibra together.
you could take your own melodies for SMS and Alarm and so on.
there a 52 patches for the phone at the moment, which some funktion were better or the botton´s with other funktion´s occupied.

but thus the warranty and it expire have to only use for one, if one hires some differently to have liked.
