Philips S880 Product Reviews
bao The screensize is about 33x40 mm.
<unknown> Tahnee and Glen,
Your comments to Mitch were uncalled for. Some of us on this forum are very interested in the progress of this "Delayed Reaction" volleyball team. I know I have bought the phone in anticipation of getting a picture this team in action.
zane there is design flaw as my internal screen broke within a week of buying it.there is not a mark on the phone as i used only 3 days.trying to get motorola to honuor garantee
Dzenan MOBIH Bosnia This is what I have to say about this phone:
Nokia 6610i is a nice, small, easy to use mobile phone. It uses Nokia Series 40 Ver.1 software and that means:CSTN 4096 col.screen 128 x 128 pix,4 channel MID polyphpnic sounds,CIF digital cam.,simple and user friendly interface without some todays advanced features. It has 4 MB of total memory what is enough for wallpapers,ring-tones and applications(it is enough since this phone does not support MP3 or MPX cam.).Photos made with this phone are good for MMS but not for making Private Photo Albums(I must say that nowday phones are not as good as real digital cameras if we compare these two,but some of todays mob cameras could be used to make nice photos for our PC albums etc.).You can download some useful applications and games to this phone and make it more useful and fun.Screen is fine if you do not ask a lot of colors, ringtones could be better. It is nice and simple phone for simple people.Lets say that the dust under the x-press cover on the screen is a small problem of this device. This phone has an IRDA connection and now I;ll say something about it:When you buy this phone new and when you try to connect this phone with another phone with IRDA(to transfer or receive pictures, for example),you must know that you will not be able to do it.Do not think that your phone is wrong or with some bugs in software,it is not.You only can transfer phonebook datas or notes from your phone to another. To transfer wallpapers, melodies, games, etc.you must download to your PC: NOKIA PC SUITE from NOKIA WEB SITE.After downloading, you must install it on your PC and you must set which way of connection you want to use:Data cable or IRDA(Which you must install before you install PC Suite). After that you can try to connect your phone to PC.If your PC gives you an information that your phone is connected to PC,you can transfer files to your phone.Without PC SUITE it is not possible to transfer files and it is the same thing for all Nokia phones with this software version(Series 40 Ver,1)like:7210,6610,7250,7250i,3100,3120,etc..So,this means that these phones are made with this kind of IRDA.New phones like 6230,5140,6230i,7200,6020,7260,7270,etc.use Series 40 Ver 2 and these phones use a new version of IRDA which you can use to transfer pictures, sounds, datas from your phone to another phone and to PC(You can do it without PC Suite with your PC,but if you want to transfer small picture which you want to use as full-screen wallpaper on your phone, you;ll need PC Suite to enlarge it and transfer to you phone). Also,I must say that FM RADIO is nice feature of this phone and it is stereo.Nice set for someone who does not ask a lot from one phone.
misclain I also have this phone in the U.S. with T-Mobile as my provider and cannot get the email to work. Can someone please help?
Thanks!
some guy hey guys, is there any way to fix this phone, my dad had a little water on it, so the main lcd screen lost red color (there is no red now), and the camera doesn't work anymore, how do you fix this? how much would it cost?
Prinz how to use the infrared on this phone? i try to send picture using even the same unit but it won't work. why? How to get sofware to connect pc and my mobilfone v200. Thank for cooperation...
dommo y cant i download pictures from my computer to the phone do the pics have to be in acrobat?
Gaurav Gupta Though the phone is good for those having small budget. Features are good. The only thing that is there is that the 4 way navigation key is a little bit sinked inside which make's it uncomfortable to use specially while going through menus or playing games
Fran can u do fast forward from the remote controll on the handsfree?
