Philips Genie db Product Reviews
Smasher This phone cannot take changes in it's memory.
That's why.
I have one for about 8 monts and my opinion is that this phone is phone for ordinary peoples, it's not for the new time. It doesn't support MMS, WAP, JAVA, but i will use this phone because it is too oreginal and there are manu other options that othet phones don't have.
Vic Read your piece on the XDA's
I upgraded from the XDA2 and got the XDA2i. Don't waste your time with the XDA2i.
The XDA2i has bluetooth problems and the screen keeps locking up especially when using TOM TOM Navigator (this is a known problem to O2)
O2 replaced the XDA2i with an XDA2s but I can't see that it's that much better than the original XDA2 though at least TOM TOM Navigator works better but it was fine in the original XDA2 I had. There is more flash memory etc but having used them both I really didn't notice any real difference. Memory space is increased but I have a storage card anyway.
For the price difference and the fact that the features and speed aren't that much different (Except the camera viewer is garbage compared to the XDA2 which shows a full screen view of what you are taking pics of the XDA2s shows about a third of what the XDA2 and XDA2I shows).
For me I will be sending it back and just getting a newer XDA2
Toucan cool looks!!!!!!how many colour is available?
Cristi I had an azalis 238 one year ago to bad that I drop it a few times and it did not work afther that I had 3 phones and I must say that I can not even compare them with the azalis, the best stand-by I ever heard.
Open-Minded This is trully a phone.
Yes, I mean phone that does what mobile phone is intented to: Making and receiving calls!
1.3 mp camera, mp3 and other functions are just an adding and do not cause this phone to be overpriced( therefore I don't care about the quality of MP3 or Camera on this phone).
In addition 600-800 standby time is what it must be on every cellular phone brand today, not just on Philips.
ANYWAY:
As a phone 9@9e desreves definitely an A+!
daisy how to download bird's ringtones.. i dont like the ringtones of this cellphone
Mai great phone. i really like its features specially its 3g capability. even if it has a low internal memory this phone really is a great one here in the philippines.
shanebubb how much does it cost and where can i get it from
<unknown> For your first question, you can simply go to Settings > Main display > and turn the Power saver off. I don't know about your question on always opening up to the main menu though. I have a question as well. Does anyone know how to transfer data such as images and mp3 ringtones from your PC to the phone without the USB Pop Port cable and if that's even possible. Also, what programs would you need to transfer data. Does it come with the USB cable or can you download one off a website for free?
leslie hi does anybody knows where i can download a note-pad-alike software for panasonic X200 phone? cos i can't do without this application...:P thanks!
