Philips 659 Product Reviews

Lex Overall, a very good phone, I had a Sony Ericsson K700 i, it was clumsy, thick. Difficult to navigate and a nightmare. The z510 is easy to use, has a good display and is user friendly. The only matter I find hard is to open the charging port; as I have very poor eyesight. At first, I could not understand the diagram in user handbook, but finally got it open and charging. The CD with it is useless; the user guide likewise. Like most new technology; find your own way, trial and error.

<unknown> the screen is very clear which is what i like about the phone, plus it has some very interesting ringtones as well....it's kinda slow but overall it's a good phone

Paulo Good cost/benefit ratio. Good sound quality in phone conversations. Though I've tried, I can't get mine to freeze or hang up. The battery is a problem... I got a longer life by turning the phone off and leaving it charging overnight. Removing animations also helps. Yes the processor is quite slow... no good for impatient people. IR works fine, a little slow prob. because of overall phone speed. I can't turn off that very loud shutter sound and there's nothing in the manual about it. Still I recomend the phone to budget-minded users who want a decent, nice-looking mobile with a good set of features and a large memory. But it wont be the battery to satisfy you.

dexter And then again .. after all this chat .. did any of you managed to actualy download something on it using gprs ? I cant download any mids or gifs or java's .. the browser automaticly opens them .. but no option to save .. at least none that I saw .. and the java's .. the browser just gets stuck when trying to download .. what's wrong ?! .. and again .. the voice dialing .. I can record .. where's the option to actualy use it ! .. seesh .. it's so messed up ! mail me .. its a great phone .. but only if I could actualy download something with it!

Xsos I read from some rusian review center, it's write that Philips 330 has a GPRS Conecction Class 10,...

<unknown> The lag is about 10 seconds. It's dead slow compared to the V801SH or the V902SH.

Mel Bishop I got this phone last year as an upgrade. It was the worst decision i ever made. Thankfully i haven't got long untill my next upgrade. Samsung have completley lost me as a customer, they say this phone lasts 270 hours on stand-by, but it barely lasts 48 hours!!! I have had many problems with this phone, i feel sorry for anyone who has it on an 18 month contract!

INNOVA That's cool. Just save it for people who are pro-dog-meat. This phone doesn't seem to offer anything new though besides being a little smaller. The screen rez isn't as nice either...

mali games

<unknown> I just bought it 2 weeks ago and its a !@#$ing awsome phone
