Pantech Q80 Product Reviews

Maxxwell House cancelling this phone was a big mistake. didn't even know moto was into 3mp cameras and this was announced 1q 2005? you really could've had something special with this one, moto. rather focus all on razr instead.

Joseph Mostarda I believe that the K510i is clearly marketed to people looking for an entry-level phone that offers more than a carrier-locked "throwaway" phone. It would certainly explain the lack of external memory and inferior backlighting. The K510i certainly isn't a bad phone, but if you have the money for a K750i or W810i, go for those instead.

SRINI I want latest reviews before buying it ?
My prime concern is :
1) is it fragile ?
2) General Quality ?
3) Cam quality ?

clacton ruffen this phone is phat. the picture quaility is great. the video camera is good. i have great fun recording my mates on there peds. i would rate this phone 8/10 it is well worth the money £150 i paid and i am well chuffed. its packed with features and you can record your own ringtones as well i have got 10 videos nad about 50 pics wich i took with the camera and i gave only used a little bit of the 4 mb memory. if you looking for a chapish camera phone then this is the one for you. the picture quality is great.

Gordy Update from my previous post: Have had phone for over a month now. Good points - Still loving that big screen, great reception quality, good sound quality through speakers, good camera which ain't too bad at night either, despite it having only an LED flash - unlike my Sharp903, that had excellent daytime shots (better than any other phone by far) but miserable results when the sun went down.

Disappointing points: Still find the UI fussy and non-intuitive; The looks don't grow on you; Battery once off full charge does drain very quickly; There's just too much hesitation/time lapse when switching functions, going to new menus, turning on the camera etc - You can almost hear the cogs whirring in the processor; That keypad is slowly driving me mad - it's really quite small and feels odd in that your thumb can't "dance" over the keys, instead you kind of have to "stab" at them...Maybe different strokes for different folks - sent a text out on my old K750 yesterday and it was Bliss in comparison.

In fact overall, if SE had bothered to upgrade the video function on the K800 to CIF instead of keeping it as QCIF (same as the K750 - where's the progress?) I'd have gone for the SE - All the added functionality of the N73 eg uploading photos direct onto web etc soon loses its novelty appeal. Think Some people might need all the additional functionality, but for eg most people I know who need to view & use documents on the move on a regular basis have a pda anyway. To sum up: Over functioned and under designed?

A last note to mull over, I think Nokia & SE are trying to compete product for product in a few key sectors (if not ALL of them of course!) - eg N73/K800, 6233/K610, E61/M600 - I pick these particular phones as examples because they even Look similar.

<unknown> Looks nice; so is this like the "Wizard" PC with UMTS? That's sweet! What's the price and what provider will have it? Obviously a GSM carrier......right?

kenesis HSDPA stands fore high speed downlink packet access, it is high data speeds with minmal delays.

David Hi,

I have just purchased an E900 and waiting for it to arrive - but i have now found the P300 - not seen either of these phones yet, but may be regretting my decision to buy the E900 instead of this. Im from a Nokia background so unsure of the Samsung operating system. Can anyone offer any advice - should i sell my E900 before i open the box and go for the P300? I want a small, different and cool phone, im a high user and my phone goes everywhere with me - plus i love gadgets!

THANK YOU for your help and advice.

David.

Rudolph of NOKIA if only i have other companies to go to i would resign from NOKIA, our phone sucks. Sony Ericsson does them better.

bynstar sometime digit lose, what are display clean do? What do insert new data?
