Pantech GF500 Product Reviews
James Yee, Singapore Ugly bulky form, RAM 64, battery life, and no GPS. Please this thing is for amateurs who just see the features but never know how this thing should do for work. They should made it in Treo-form and battery life for at least 5-6 hours talk and 300-350 hours standby (qwerty is needed for sure), RAM should be 128 (that's why i still keep my old Treo 650 for almost a year and a half), GPS (super need for this one).
g-man i had it since xmas last year, it messed up bout 2 months ago, kept turnin itself off, i took it to 02 shop n they had it for 7 days to repair it, i had it back, it works perfectly now no problems, they fixed it proper, its much faster and easier
tolga Got this phone for my wife about a month ago. paid 275$ for it(Very cheap in my country-Turkey, considering the high taxes). She is very pleased with it. Sound is good, picture is brilliant. Battery life is average considering its class and features. I use data cable to transfer data. Phone's own ringtones are loud but when you set mp3s as ringtones without changing the volume, it's really hard to hear.
So I take an mp3 and make it louder (using goldwave or nero soundtrax or audacity-there are lots of programs for it.) But here it is important that the sound mustn't burst.
Finally, I advise this phone.

Zohaib this is for u vampire, u do not need to activate the infra red just activate the infra red of another mobile and connect with i jam then i-jam automatically detect the infra of other mobile & u can send material as beam file
jared djuhar i'll give ya some bad point to this phone
- extremely scratchable cos the material they use as their casing
- the joystick is kinda stiff at the 1st time, so u need to get use to it
- dirt easily could get in to the small gap in the keys
- battery life not tat good
- ringtones is really really soft, cos the speaker is under the phone, u need to turn over the phone when its lying on the desk or somethin, sms is hard at the 1st time, need to study more in the manual, these all wut i thought, im not lying about this
