kia Why is it so hard to get ringtones on the net for this phone? There should be a site where you could get ringtones for this phone alone
Amy Hiya all. LOVE LOVE LOVE this phone. The camera is not fantastic, 1 MP really isn't that great (but i haven't try taking pics with the flash on yet) but this phone is just so beautifully designed in terms of physical design and menu/OS/screen. You won't regret it! It has great reception and sound (for MP3s and ringtones).
anyway, wanted to post bc read some ppl had issues with installing the drivers for USB related functions. the samsung software has a lot of room for improvement. but it does work. go to www.samsung.com and then the relevant webpage for your country/region. click on SUPPORT. select your phone model. download and install ALL the software available. you will get a warning message from windows saying that the software hasn't been tested for windows or something along that line. i haven't had problems so far so i guess it's install at your own peril. i found after installing it still didn't work. don't uninstall. restart your computer. then plug in the the USB cord with the phone on. windows will keep finding new hardware. keep selecting, "i will choose the driver to install myself" - windows comes up with the driver anyway, and so keep clicking on install, despite all the warning messages. after windows stops finding new hardware, start file manager or image editor (which you would have downloaded and installed from the samsung website along with the drivers). you will find that you can download all your photos and manage your phone book/sms/etc. phew, that's it! hope it's readable!

PROS:
01. Bright TFT Display (Better than K500i, Nokia 6230)
02. Great Camera (May be better than any 1 mega pixel available in the market)
03. Very fast menu navigation (fastest in the market).
04. Can transfer/shift/copy several files simultaneously from one folder to another.
05. Beautiful menu icon (better than K500i, K700i and any nokia phone).
06. Bluetooth and infrared works well.
07. Can record Tele-conversation.
08. Good battery (2/3 days active use).
09. Great ringtone sound (Better than any nokia phone).
10. Good sinc with pc (USB cable included in the package).
11. Can download free themes form various internet site (now getting available).
CONS:
01. No memory card slot.
02. No Radio.
03. Grains visible in the display due to less pixel (128 X 160 only)
04. Display behaves poor under bright sun (K500i was better).
05. Keypad not comfortable enough.
LI TAN Moo, most phones do hung up from time to time. It just happens when u bought it. Anyway, i have not experienced what u went thru, but I did have to remove the battery to start the phone. I was opening a pic taken and all of a sudden it hangs.
Do check with the shop that u bought from if ur problems surface frequently, else, don't bother.
