Denny HI, i bought this great phone 2 weeks ago, and its definitly a beautiful phone, but i have a problem, my infrared seems to be not functioning as it should, can someone please tell me if i have to set something in my phone first. all i do is put on my infrared, but i cannot recieve, or even see the option to send.

Mark Great phone, However I cannot get ringtones or pictures to download via the usb cable. I downloaded the software from LG web site but that only lets you perform basic tasks in the phonebook section and so on. Can anyone help with the correct software to transfer ringtones and pictures.

Cingular(in USA) uses 1900mhz(old antennas) and 850mhz(most of them and new ones) antenna signals, so therefore(from experience) ANY tri-band phone works with T-Mobile perfectly fine(t-mobile antennas are 1900 mhz frequency) and works not as good but still works with cingular!
therefore, To HAVE a BEST reception of signal you must have Quad-Band phone(for cingular users) and you will be fine if you have tri-band and T-Mobile service!
