Juhyung Ah! I realized that I probably purchased a DUAL-BAND version of this phone in Thailand, as that is what is available there. I feel really stupid, because one store I went to told me it was tri-band (which it probably was), but then I went to another store because it was cheaper there and never asked whether it was tri-band or dual-band...only assumed it would be tri-band.
Is there anyway that I can upgrade the firmware to make it tri-band? That would really help me a lot...

Rob I heard that its coming out mid july.
as for the price, i've searched and searched and thanx to 'Simon Say' recomending www.adpost.com/us/ it said $270 which is roughly £150.
Don't get too excited i think it might be an internet cheaper phone. So expect £200+ maybe £250 (non-contract) if applicable.

shaggy i have been using LG G1600 from the past 8 months. The voice is too low( u cant here if ur on road or in a public plcce) and data cable is not available for this model.
anurag chigs I have this instrument for almost a year now, this a piece of jewel, i could connect to PC without problem, take photos, share pics / videos/ songs via bluetooth etc.
unfortunately i dipped this in water, and started it immediately, it started once .. and now not responding, its still in warrenty ..looking forward to get it repaired.
nick you can only put moblie home and email if u save it under PHONE not SIM.
