memory on the GD87 is pretty bad. only 1Mb. howver this is split between the mms, sms the data folder etc. regrading the software for this phone refer to my earlier messages.data cables. many high street stores such as carphone warehouse, dixons link, phones 4u etc.. sell them these are in the UK.
Paul Build quality of phone is very low. Paint comes off easily and buttons don't work after a while. Stay away from this model.
nick this is a perfect phone. i got it about a year now, and within that year its been dropped over 500 times ( seriously ) and its still working perfectly.
harriet I think this fone is the greatest thing since sliced bread!! It is the coolest ever. The camera is a wiked idea and the fact that it slides just adds on the effect!
dan i lost my handsfree and now i cant seem to be able to change the profile from the headset.now i can only recieve texts or send no phone calls please help i love this phone.the hard reset doesnt resolve my problem either

well, I use the 903SH which STILL has IrDA & Bluetooth, as most MODERN JAPANESE phones do.
Give me some credit, I use a CARD READER for transfering any file as Bluetooth is too slow. Though M2M is done via bluetooth of course. You're way behind if you still use MP3 - efficiency is called AAC+ v2. Talking about catching up with time...
IrDA still has it's place and it will be a disadvantage to SOME not having it.
Can you live with that?

Adan I have the gray one, it's a good phone, it has all you are going to use, but I'm afraid you can not add new words into its dictionary, you have to swith between T9, symbol and ABC mode to write a message. I didn't find the FM radio.
shezza the only thing i don't like is that it doesn't have predictive text.
Brad The Great Send the word STOP in capital letters back to the number you're recieving the texts from. I guarantee it will begin with 8 and is only 5 digits long....
