unknown the phone does actually have a silent button, apparently if u press and hold the # key, the silent function is activated but as soon as the phone swithes off it is deactivated.

sorinh yeah.. good phone but i can't connect with other phones via infrared.. with a irda device connected to a computer i could see that there is a link, the computer recongized the phone but i couldn't transfer any file.. jpeg or midi i have tried with a irda connection between x120 and a nokia a sony ericsson a philips .. almost any phone and they didn't saw each other .. any sugestion??
crysalis I own this phone. it would be great, but I bought it before it was released on ebay from japan, and as a result the mms and gprs does not work, which is my only gripe. Everything else is great, especially the durability. I have dropped this phone down the steps numerous times, one time the case split. I have even dropped this cell in the toilet. But unlike my D-410 (screen broke after rough sliding action) it still works like new.

rose i brought this phone and it looks great
but the memory is very small
and my screen has gone funny colours, and i cannot change it and now the information window is broken and i have not dropped it or anything.

Jack Its better to have multiple types of connections just in case one fails. I think infared can come in handy at times especially when you are trying to print a picture from your phone at the quick photo thing at Wal-mart or so...
