NEC N830 Product Reviews
Jason I have a few questions to the people who use this phone before i buy it.
1) Are you able to program the phone to turn on and off?
2) How good is the calender? can u place multiple entries with seperate alarms on the same day? how long can each entry be?
3) About the sms feature, is it possible to use the numbers while on the lower case letter setting, eg a,b,c then 2 without swapping to the numeral input option?

Jamie I use this fone for work and it really gets hammered and so far it hasn't broken. It even stands up to the test of my temper and has survived several hard impacts when I have thrown it against walls. All in all a great work phone and nothing else.

jadall my firmware version is v 4.29 15-01-04 I have a nokia 3300b (the USA version) This interests me a new firmware version I guess i will have to contact nokia and see if they can do that for me or not.
Lonestar I had a V180 and I started hearing static in the phone when I was on a call. Everyone I talked to said they heard it too. I charged up my old Nokia 3595 and put the sim chip in and have been usinf it for the last two months. tha V180 only laster 3 weeks and I never dropped it once.what a peice of crap.
