Joe After my third Razr, I recently switched to a Nokia 6102i, and could not be happier for the change. I had to exchange my original Razr due to software issues with Cingular, then exchanged that phone because of frequent dropped calls which continued with my third Razr. I thought Cingular was the problem, but now I am sure the Razr's are the problem. I've talked to other Razr owners and have yet to find anyone who has owned one for a period of time that likes the phone. At first, everyone loves thier Razr. They're fun to have, a conversation piece in and of themselves, and you get to show off and impress others with this 'hip and cool' high tech phone. After that, it's all down hill. Functionally, the phone has a lot of features, that don't work well, or are difficult to use. I assumed, wrongly I might add, that my Blue Tooth would work best with a Motorola phone. It fact, my Blue Tooth works much better with my Nokia than my old Razr's. Here's a quick ranking of features you might be interested in (1=Poor 10= excellent):

Blue Tooth Nokia 10 Razr 5
One touch dialing Nokia 9 Razr 3
Clarity in audio Nokia 9 Razr 2
Dropped calls Nokia 9 Razr 1
Alarm Clock Nokia 9 Razr 7
Address Book Ease Nokia 10 Razr 3
Miss Call Notice Nokia 10 Razr 1
Message Waiting Nokia 10 Razr 3
Call Waiting Nokia 9 Razr 9
Ease of Keypad Nokia 8 Razr 5
Notes feature Nokia 9 Razr 7
Screen in Sun Nokia 6 Razr 6
Compact size Nokia 7 Razr 10
Calculator Nokia 10 Razr 4
Battary Charge Nokia 8 Razr 5

The Razr comes out on top in only one feature as far as I'm concerned, and that's size. Nokia's ease of use and dependability
far outweigh the size advantage of the Razr in this writter's opinion.

TJ Poor for texting qualities.MMS not clever.
Too technical for easy use.Wish I had stuck with Nokia.Much easier.

<unknown> the screen is very dim,i have seen my friend's ngage qd's screen.its really very bright.even with 4096 colors it looks better than that of mine.

the keypad is also very odd.ll surely change this fone soon.

sanjay Do it has any problem with display or battery backup...

TCK I finally gave up on my Z800i.After master reset, the I still get dropped calls. It happens more often when the signal from a 3G network is not present and the phone automatically switches to the regular 2G band. Despite having full bar on my other Nokia phone, the Z800i couldn't find a 2G network. For a 6 month old phone, I am very disappointed. I think Sony should just stick to making PlayStations and nothing else.

samual Finally a clean and simple design phone with only the basic functions. I LOVE it. Well done Motorola!
