ash I got the X480 a week back for abt US $115 in the gray market.Battery backup comes to about 3 days with usage for abt 30min a day.This is a phone ONLY for talking on..messaging is quite a hassle.And there's no option to forward a message!!!Thats atrocious in this day and age.The built in ringtones are AWFUL!!So u gotta download other tones.Keypad is nice and big..easy to type text messages.

raincity i bought c75 about 5 weeks ago. i'm very satisfied with the quality, especially the simple design and high quality of display.
the phone doesnt support mp3, that's why i add some midi's into the phone. there are alot of sites which provide free midi's. or just convert the mp3 by using midimaker program (it can b downloaded free from internet)
about the battery:
it will runout in 4 days of medium usage (phone&sms, minimum usage of cam/vid/infrared, i use IrDa to transport files from/to pc);
it will runout for 2 days for heavy usage (max. of cam and infrared)
to save the battery life you can reduce the illumination. mine is 50%.
for you who have bad battery life, i think your battery is the bad one, or may be your's not original?!
cIP does anyone knows how to change a sound for receiving messages on this Eten G500 other then those already inside the phone ! I can not find the way to do it ! Plz help

Eugènio nhaca I am Mozambican, living in Maputo. I was in Millano - Italy on July 2003, and I took an oportunity to buy a mobile phone - Alcatel One Touch 526 at "Media World Rozzano - Centro Commerciale FIORDALISO". I tested all functionalities, I also introduced a security code, and I was happy with this until the day my phone blocked and I realised that I have forget my security code. So we tried to unblock it locally and also I sent my phone to South Africa and Portugal but it was unsuccessfull as there are no proper software to unblock it.
By this way I should like to have a help from you in order to unblock my phone so that I can use it. If there is a possibility to douwload the software,or if there exist a specific code to reset the phone, please would you send it to my e-mail address - enhaca@tdm.mz
beware this is handphone is great but there is only 2 thing i hate in this phone is that the voice recorder we only can record for 10sec and when someone sms u, the ringing is just abt 5 sec
