Frank Hey,can't you lock a folder.I have some folders on my memory card and I wanna put a code so when I wanna open it I have to put a code. Can that be done. Thanks

JohnnyM Basically, there are two ways of getting ringtones onto the F1200. MP3 or MID files both types of ringtones can be obtained from various sites on the internet.

1. To transfer MID ringtone files onto the phone. You will need to use LG Mobile Agent to to do that. There is a limit on the size of the MID ringtone file - 50 Kbytes. Max is 20 MID files. Basically, you need to start the LG Mobile Agent and set the default MID file directory to where you have stored your MID ringtones on your computer and transfer them to your F1200 that way.

2. MP3 Ringtones it much easieras you do not need to connect using LG Mobile Agent software. You just connect your phone to your computer and it will recognise it like it is 'USB flash memory'. But before you can access the 64 MB memory on your phone. Don't forget to enter the access pin - default is "0000" or else you cannot download anything to your phone.

Hope this helps.

Mick Man this phone is a piece of garbage, the battery sucks, the features suck everything about it sucks! I read some good and bad things about it, mostly good and when I bought it… man, I was very disappointed, a few days later I took it back to the shop and exchanged it for a different one. If you wanna buy it for its looks then go ahead and buy it, but if u wanna good phone stick with nokia or samsung

Sandra Waldman Have Timeport250. Leaving the country for a long trip in 24 hours. MUST have the manuel. CAn I get it online in the next short while so I can print it ? Thank you
