IR on c100 indeed works and its not like that IR o post c100 fones only work,its not true.ofcourse its not as good as sum nokia series 60 and sony-eri.phones.to connect this phone using IR to pc u need 2 hav IR port for pc also.then simply turn on IR from phone settings and align it to ur pc's IR port and it will connect showing ur phone model as another pc.however u cannot send files directly 2 d fone.u need 2 hav sum software specially made for samsung phones. s/w for nokia wont work.i hav downloaded .wav tones and wallpapers on it using IR-port.So no doubt it works.

Rodrigo Ilton Caruso This phone has a nice hardware, fast processor, low battery comsumption, nice VGA camera and M2 card reader. But the software is a shame. It lacks zoom when viewing pictures. The camera software spreads artiffacts and blurs pictures in low light when saves it(it destroys the picture, even the ones showing nice when aiming) and you can't use bluetooth handsfree to linten music. The software is stable, but was made to force you to buy another phone when you expect to use all the potencial of the mobile.

richards how do i use the fax feature on the 9500 communicator. the lights also do not come on at night , what should i do.

ab it's a good phone, easy menu, good audio quality, camera is good for a phone imo and has a flash, video same, has 13MB internal memory, so will hold quite a few contacts, messages, pics, audio etc.

it is an i-mode phone.

i'm just getting used to i-mode and don't think i'll use it, i have fast internet at home, i-mode is very slow (in ireland, but apparently they're using ancient technology).

i-mail is handy just becauase it works 'out of the box', but i think i wouldn't like to get dependant on the i-mail address as i have yet not found a way to access the imail without the phone and don't think i could 'bring the address with me', in a similiar way that it used to be impossible to keep your phone number if you changed network. Perhpas this will change also.

The basic functions of the phone are good. There's a good deal of memory in in.

I like that it can play any audio as a ring-tone, e.g. a small clip of audio converted to mp4/aac (with itunes for e.g.) and sent to the phone. But though it can record audio, it saves that in a different format and can't play it as a ringtone !

Ronald P (ronn-knee) This is my first and current phone haha. The phone's pretty good for its price. It doesn't have many features but still. Like what the other guy said, if it had a camera then it'd be great. The battery life's pretty good. I just need to recharge every 3rd day and yea. The phone lags a bit when you have too much stuff stored onto it. Recommended as children's first phone.
