mr a galer I think the N840 is a great phone It does all the jobs for me photos onto computer which are good quality but the only problem I am having I went away and forgot my mains charger so I decided to buy a car charger I tryed some of the big mobile places and no way could I buy one, I had a couple from 2 shops to try and the phone screen showed wrong voltage and I was told to get in touch with manufacture to me thats a joke. You can get these chargers for other phones so why not for this model.
I brought this phone in Hong Kong so how can I find the NEC address in UK to ask why so I would be grateful if you could assist me
sam this phone is the worst phone i havent got! the screen brakes easily and has the worst camera quality... i am switch to a samsung z510... this camera cant even record videos.. i would certainly not reccomend this to anyone at all

sammir yo Andriuzz I recommend that you send your phone in for repare because there is no other option out of the "BACKLIGHT" category that will allow you to change your preferences to turn on your lighting. There are many websites out there that repair broken LCDs,waterdamages, and in your case you just need the small lamp behinde the external display.
