Puneet Hi .. can any one let me know .. My phone is not even starting .. it was good until yesterday and now it .. when i turn the power .. it freezes . doesnt go further at all.

XMEN what a beautifull gsm!!!

lex I think I agree with Vlad Dumitrescu : post-2006-03-20.True, what is the point of having all this on your phone!! I think i will just buy a BIG Backpack and just carry my pc, my digital camera,my mp3 and of corse not forgetting my phone too!!! haha! oh yeah my Pc screen? not a flat screen monitor but a 19" crt woo hoo!!

RYAN were can i buy the bettery and a charger?

John Does the phone allow you to transfer numbers from the memory to sim and vise versa. The last samsung I had did not allow me to transfer numbers from phone memory to sim

Mehmet I can not understand that they have cancelled it.

ian does any1 know if you can expand the memory on this phone?
if so, can you send me an email telling me how, thanks
Ian

Nightmare Just got this two days ago. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!
I spent two hours with my provider configuring the MMS and GPRS settings, and it was like each time you created a new setting, the system resets itself and goes back to another setting. Anyway, after 2 hours, only the MMS was working.
Tried to configure the email and GPRS the next day, GPRS keeps reverting to some other setting that I didn't put in, and even after multiple hard resets and hours with mobile provider customer support, (couldn't remove the wrong settings) the setting would still be there.
Called HP customer service, got some heavy overseas accent who didn't know what was the problem, kept saying "You input the right numbers, the phone will work!", and said that my email login and pswd was dependant on my mobile provider and not the email server. They were very happy to send me away with those answers.
Graphics was also slow, and its kinda funny seeing how remnants of the phone menu would appear on the "today" menu. Sound quality was ok though, but phone was really heavy, (tried using it with bluetooth) coupled with a classless plastic stylus and plastic cover.
Enough was enough, returned the device today.

neos @ vishal and any 1 who is confused between z550i an w300i

if u r lookin 4 a phone to play music and takin a lil bit of shots then dont look any further , jus go and buy this cool phone (w300i) ,
it has really good sound both in speakers and the headphones , also u can connect ur own 3.5 mm headphones wid it

z550i is more like a business phone and has sound much inferior to w300i , but i agree that it has a better camera than w300i ( but i personally like pictures to be taken from a digicam cos even 1.3 mega pixel resolution on z550i is not good enuf )

also the keys on z550i are a bit more comfertable for texting ( maybe cos i have big hands )but i dont text much so i got a w300i for myself itz a fone u wont regret after buying

a little price check for all ya ppl

z550i = rs 8500 (in india) wid no memory card and data cable , but including some plasticky headsets

w300i = rs 9800 ( this includes data cable , 256 mb memory card , hp70 headsets )

from grey market memory card 512 mb = rs 900
data cable = rs 500 to 600
hp70 headsets = rs 1500 ( orignal ofcourse )

so in my opinion for all the ppl who are interested in music fone w300i is a really good choice coz wid it u get all the orignal s.e equipment ( also once u see the phone in ur hand it dosent look that bad the ergonomics r pretty comfortable )

but 4 any one who want a business style phone with all the latest features z550i makes more sense ( and u will have to buy all the accessories later )

hope this helps , if ya wanna know any thing else feel free to ask
