I currently own an original Rogers Wireless Palm Treo 650. As you probably know, it is an excellent unit. The only thing I don't like about it, is that the keyboard keys are too small and they are too close together. It is very difficult for me to get at them. I am forced to use the stylus to press them. As you can imagine, this is extremely frustrating.

Would this issue be solved with the Blackberry 8700r? How is the key layout of the Blackberry 8700r?

Nate Just got one of these phones, I've wanted one for some time and the opportunity came to get one very cheaply. I've dispensed of my N-gage and Sony T610 to have one of these. They look SOOO cool. One problem I have though is with the Clock, it just doesn't keep time! It is very very slow. As a result I can't use the alarm which i rely on! Also the signal is very weird, it often goes from 4 bars to none and then back to 4 again when just sitting on the desk! It often goes when i open the slide and i have to wait for signal to come back before i can make a call! Anybody else had these problems??

Maical No, the phone does not have a camera, but u can add one.
Rodney, the keylock should not unlock when u answer a phone call with the flip or with any key, it shoud stay locked.
The touchpad is a fancy add, it;s fun sometimes..., this is not a smartphone u know :>

Marcus lol teejay i do the same thing to mute my camera but anyway this phone rulz its usability does not suk to all ppl who think that. Its Graphical Enhanced tech poos all over nokias boring cartoony graphics and motorola and i many others.for $230AUS it was a bargain and its got a great camera quality and somthing good about it is u can compress songs on the computer and send em through a data cable to your phone and listem to them. Works great when i want to listen to music in the shower :D
maybe it could do with a bit more memory considering how much videos take up.
But overall it RULZ BUY IT!!!!

Mfon i say the phone on net but i dont know whether the infra port is functioning properly because am very much concern with the infra port. plz any body that used the phone up to (6)month should email me and tell me more about the infra.

kenny i bought this hp @rm260 in malaysia. this is the best hp i ever have. the ringtone is better than nokia even though it is just a simple phone. looking forward to see philips corp. to launch another new cell phone :-D
