yvette hi just got a V501 unlocked for uk sim but cant open media or browser any ideas???????
Andrew Marks I am finding it hard to understand why any one likes this phone. As i work for a mobile phone company we get to look at the handsets before they are released. I went to the samsung roadshow and had a play with this phone and all i can say is terrible design. When the screen rotates it becomes very fragile and easy 2 break. Would last me 5 mins!!
aMq hi borgis,
this is what it shows:
1.046
EMP:U100 5.0
OW:7.0.2.1.545
aplix: 1.17.
What do you think?
<unknown> Apple, if you read some of the comments you'll find along with me that most people think that the phone is fantastic. One MASSIVE complaint, is that the battery needs charging every 2 days or so with average use. Hopefully they will have a more durable lasting battery soon. (Yes in Australia the phone is available in white, check the Samsung Aussie website!)
Tobi Odebo it's a nice and desirable fone BUT what is the point of having a colour screen when there isn't even a camera with it. This fone should be better than MY X-5, so get it a camera
Ronnie B My previous phone was a simple, easy to use, easy to see Samsung SGHr225 (thru T-mobile). The battery died and I went my local mall's T-m center. I allowed myself to be talked into taking this phone and renewing my T-mobile contract for 1 yr. I HATE THIS PHONE! I can't see anything on the screen if I'm outside, the little backlit letters/no's on the keypad are hardly visible in anything but complete darkness, the address book takes forever to load! And I was told by the gentleman when I returned that all the phones are like that. What a piece of crap! I just ordered a new battery for my old phone from a Web site -- something I should have done in the first place. In order to get a more simple "free" phone from T-mobile, I would have to renew for ANOTHER 2 YEARS. Come July, I'm done with T-mobile, as well!
martyn hodgson is there a bootloader screen on this phone? if so how then can unlock it.
ttshyan my dream phone but sold out the market
so sading
Rocky First impression--Great. I personally like flips. I needed a business phone but not the bulk. Needed the slim. This phone provided this and then some. DONT FORGET PEOPLE...ITS A PHONE. You do not need a high res camera on a phone much less a camer on a phone. You dont need WiFi because if you do, chances are you will have a laptop with you. What else do you wanna do with a phone...have it do brain surgery??? Though a drawback that it runs a Microsoft OS but its still a phone that can make calls anywhere in the world, with a few luxuries that will make your life easier. Consealing it is easy. Overall 8.5 out of 10.
