i-mate K-JAM Product Reviews

pius sexy attractive phone u love i love everybody should love
pius

<unknown> It's so damn ugly though, god.

Fayzan You can put games onto the phone by using a program called GThing, its the only way, but it costs $7.

Secondly the drivers for the phone can be downloaded on LG's site.

damo I got my i-mate SP5 a few days ago and have to say it is INCREDIBLE. I had an o2 XPhoneII before, but this is something else altogether. The API integration in WM5 is so much better, meaning the phone works better and looks more uniform throughout. Bluetooth is finally useable, the T9 dictionary is editable and the screen is spectacular. Within 3 minutes I had it set up and syncing directly with my corporate exchange server. I've got the wi-fi option enabled, meaning i can sync my email wherever there is an access point (and when there's not, use GPRS).
Setting up GPRS and MMS can be a challenge, but the i-mate website has some auto configuration applications which cover many regions. The one for Vodafone Australia doesn't work so I had to do it manually, no mean feat. I will post instructions on MoDaCo on how to do it.
Things I don't like the phone include the inability to easily (ie without reg hack) change the soft key function (which says "Contacts" despite there being a dedicated "Contacts" button. The photo contacts app has taken a step back (now only presents a tiny copy of the pic when your contact rings) and the included ringtones and colour schemes are still very basic.
I would highly recommend this phone, for the price (AUD$729) it can't be beat.

Asif Hi guys, how are you doin?
Talking about C-230 It is very reliable phone. It dropped in the boiling water and it remained it there for about 50seconds. When i swithed on the phone, it was working properly. so guys, it is really a good, smart and reliable phone. I simply love this phone.

niki I want to buy a phone but I don't know which..I like this one but I have doubts about it: the trasference of photos to a computer it's easy?; how many days battery keeps alive?
I apreciate that you answer me as soon as possible!I need a phone urgently!

Thanks

<unknown> There is nothing wrong with BenQ. They are a solid brand, just trying to break into the European market under the O2 name. (See the O2 listing for further info.) The S700 is a great, feature packed phone.

Dave Cannon Just had a play with one of these in an O2 shop. It seemed like a very nice phone. O2 shops are selling it on PAYG for £99 which includes £20 airtime and a £50 Bluetooth headset. Bargain for a 3G phone

miramax philips 355 has a serial connection and it can be connected to com1 at PC , but u need to open the phone and solder rx , tx and gnd.

Philbert well i just got this fone, cause i thought that compared to other fones more expensive than this lack most of the features of this.
well this fone is the best i have used and seen, of course there are others, but this is satisfaction gauranteed, my firmware version is 5.50 and i have no errors in operation, can't wait to buy a bigger memory card for it. this is a great buy, the 6230i is even greater. the only way i am getting a new fone is of this stop works or the fone companies in my country finally go 3G, so i can buy a series 60 3G fone. this fone is the shizznit..
