i-mate JAM Black Product Reviews

jayden haha. true, ture. i had this phone with me for a LONG LONG time which i couldn't even remember, okay..maybe 2002 till now..i've kept it as a spare since my bro-in-law gave me a panasoic x500(with colour, camera etc), a sliding and high-class looking phone. But soon after, TODAY, the panasonic broke my heart! i was feeling odd not to receive any sms the entire afternoon and decided to send someone an sms, but i found out that it took forever to send!(which means cannot send la) and then i tried to call the person, cannot call! i tried several other people including my house phone and i am 100% my panasonic broke down! THANK GOODNESS this 8250, which ive kept in my drawer saved my life and i am now happy that i've not thrown it away...

IT IS ONE OF THE MOST DURABLE PHONES I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. YOU CAN GO DO THOSE THINGS TO YOUR 3G PHONE LIKE DROPPING IN INTO POOL/MUD/2 STOREYS HIGH. YOU CAN WAIT TO COUNT HOW MANY PIECES OF SPARE PARTS YOU ARE LEFT WITH SO THAT YOU CAN SELL THEM TO THAT 2ND HAND SHOP DOWN THE ROAD.(i bet you wouldn't dare anyway)

haha. hope you guys find this interesting. rock on! cheers :P

pete moore hey!

Omair hey @Bobby!!

peter Having removed the O2 logo (which caused the device to "freeze" I have fond the Xda IIs a very good device. I have one problem however and I hope someone has the solution.

I have purchased a "PARROT" bluetooth hands free unit for the car BUR my XdaIIs refuses to "auto-connect" - instead I have to go to Programs/Bluetooth Manager/click on the hands-free connection to Parrot/select "connect" - and then wait: It usually takes between 2 and 8 attempts before a succesful connection is achieved.

My car-installer says it is my "phone's fault" - has anyone had a similar problem and has anyone found a solution please

Vikas dash No way to insert the ring tones text in to my gd90 hand set. Please let me know how to insert ring tones.

<unknown> wow 7.9 on design

karen may anyone teach me how to compose or download some ringtones to mine this LG W3000 mobile?

Ashley I've had this phone, for a couple of months. I crushed my ericsson z200 in a door, and decided to buy this one.

It was probably the WORST investment I've made. This phone has HORRIBLE service. I can't recieve phonecalls in my entire neighborhood. There is constant humming throughout all of my phone calls. I can't seem to switch the 24 hr time to 12 hr time. AND, as a paying cingular customer, I should have accsess to My MEdia. This phone will not allow me to connect to that.

The standard ringtones are annoying... and Unless you know how to work a computer, you are stuck with them.

The camera, worked well for maybe, the first MONTH I had the phone. and then something went wrong, and now I can't even take a clear picture.. The contrast is all off, and no matter how many times I fiddle with the settings, nothing changes. I've reset this phone at least 3 times to factory settings to see if it would take any effect on the camera. It didn't. I've re-looked through the manual, (which is useless) and I've searched on the internet for troubleshooting techniques.

Other annoying bits for this phone. The camera, If you change your settings.. you have to alter them everytime you re-use the camera because they don't "stick". The external display light only turns on, when you shut the phone, or when someone is calling. You can't press a button on the outside to light up the screeen to see the time or how well your service is working.

I should have just gunned up the extra $300 and bought the RAZR.

I think I'll be switching service providers as soon as I turn 18.
