HP iPAQ hw6510 Product Reviews
Paul First off, I would love to know if anybody has purchased and used the fifty dollar factory USB cable and Data CD? Does the Data CD have any games on it? Or a Game loading software?
I, like Cliff, bought a cheapy five dollar cable on ebay. I downloaded " Handset Manager" from Sharp, and with this setup, I have added ringtones and moved pictures in and out of the phone. But I have not found any Games that will work on this phone.
Just about everything Cliff says about the phone is true. But I still like the phone for what it can do. Come on I got mine for free too (well almost, sixteen dollars). I would never shell out four or five hundred bucks for any phone. That was the retail asking price for this phone.
The listing volume IS too low. You will have trouble in a crowded room or in traffic.
My biggest bi### is call waiting. I have not picked up a call waiting call YET. The procedure is like three steps. And I have always lost one or both calls, because I forgot the procedure.
Other than the call waiting problem, I can live with the other short comings.
To everybody who says the ring volume is too low, read the MANUAL. There are many ring tones already in the phone. And there are louder tones in there. Or record your own. I used the voice recorder to record my dog barking. I used the recording as a ring tone. One day I had the phone sitting on a desk while I was talking to a contractor in his office. The phone went off. The sound was so loud it made him jump. It was pretty funny.
The pictures I think are really good for a phone. But you do have to keep the phone very still when you shoot.
I think T-Mobile is a super company for giving this phone away.
<unknown> It's a good quality phone. Beats the old Panasonic phone I had (G50, looked good but was totally rubbish). The battery life is pretty good, and as long as I got the data cable I could not only transfer data but charge the phone at the same time. I've dropped the phone to the hard ground for many times and it's still working fine (a bit of scratch though). I'm a cheap budget phone buyer and this phone is easily the best phone I've ever had. I love Nokia but Nokia's budget phone's camera is never so good. I got many comments about using this phone. Most of the people say it's a cool phone. And I like the green/blue/pink flash as well. Also the button which allows you to flip the phone is soooo cool.
<unknown> does sony ericsson fones have confrence??
bob can i get one for free ..he..he...
aberdeen klein if you're considering to buy this phone....
well, i would just recommend you to have NOKIA 3250, its functions are superb and one of the best...
i have this phone and the functions are so far lefty behind.... so go for 3250
kartik me gotta buy dis phone please tell me if it has radio or not
Joke If you don't have buyed it as a Load a Game Version or your provider offers not downloadable games -> Sagem sucks. No Java, so you would be able to download games from everywhere, even as freeware.
If you buy it you think it's cheap, but thr costs for games (if you would be able to get some) are much higher.
Better buy next time a real phone :-))))
šole,cro cool
Rodrigo Artur I have a S45 and I liked the apparel a lot, however it exists some
particularities. The profiles of Nokia 8565 are much better. In the 8265 it is
possible to link somebody of the calendar to a profile and the a bitmap already
in S45 that is not possible. And the battery of hard S45 at the most one week.
In comparison with the resources more used S45 is a good apparel.
SHERDI ~~Iligan-Phil Sorry to say this, but I find this phone awful.Picture pixels are only 4k,it's kinda blurred. My distant cousin owns one,but he hates it after a week of use. He'd rather buy a nokia7650 than this one. It's bulky and the games are boring.Too slow to send MMS pics from he's phone to mine.Aside from that,it can't store many names in the phonebook. He got pissed using this junky siemens mc60.After a month, he'd sold it for just P1,000.00 equivalent to $18.00.He regreted buying this phone without giving him the satisfaction of its features. He abhors now buying phones from siemens.Maybe I think, next time,Siemens company will produce state-of-the-art phones that would satisfy their buyers.
