Tara i bought this phone jan 2005 and have had continuous probs with it ever since ive bought it. alcatel took it in 5!!!!! times to 'fix' the prob but still doesnt go properly-the screen fades, sometimes cant send/receive txts, etc. i dont want to put anyone off buying this phone, i think i just got the 'bad apple' of the bunch as the vodafone lady put it.

Uk the screen is tiny! the outside is nice!

DevilKai For sure the phone is very cool has everything indeed, but the things that it don't have no any sis system. you cann't download any cool softwareto instal it on the phone and that's very very bouring...

For the sound quality, its excellent, the phone is really neat, but I'm facing a serious problem now, the setting for GPRS APN name is only limited to a maximum of 10 digits, so I can not enter the name of my mobile company APN name which consists of 15 digits, neither the IP address fits in that range, strange!

i think that im getting thi phone, i live in the UK and i think this is the best that i can find for my needs. i had a demonstration of the phone in the shop and it is ace! but i do not understand what it means by T.V phone? could some body email me or post please, i would really like to know before i buy the phone.

Mike I love the phone BUT:
1) texts are stored on the SIM and so it fills really quickly. You can move them to the phone but you have to do them one by one = major pain
2)T9 text by default is in upper case so you have to change it for each text you send (you cannot change the settings) = another major pain!

Bear Great little phone with a good battery that lasts several days before needing a charge. I've owned my Virgin Savvy since 2000, it makes and receives calls which is all I want from a phone - and what other phone can do 'Old Macdonald Had A Farm' as a fairly unique ringtone, in amongst all those samey Nokias?
