Bird S590 Product Reviews

Nightmare Just got this two days ago. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!
I spent two hours with my provider configuring the MMS and GPRS settings, and it was like each time you created a new setting, the system resets itself and goes back to another setting. Anyway, after 2 hours, only the MMS was working.
Tried to configure the email and GPRS the next day, GPRS keeps reverting to some other setting that I didn't put in, and even after multiple hard resets and hours with mobile provider customer support, (couldn't remove the wrong settings) the setting would still be there.
Called HP customer service, got some heavy overseas accent who didn't know what was the problem, kept saying "You input the right numbers, the phone will work!", and said that my email login and pswd was dependant on my mobile provider and not the email server. They were very happy to send me away with those answers.
Graphics was also slow, and its kinda funny seeing how remnants of the phone menu would appear on the "today" menu. Sound quality was ok though, but phone was really heavy, (tried using it with bluetooth) coupled with a classless plastic stylus and plastic cover.
Enough was enough, returned the device today.

Admin Mac, there are Philips ringtones in GSMArena.com. Just click on Ringtones, then Philips logo and choose tune.

sali it`s wonderful:)

babs The mp3 player serves as the video player (mp4)

Apparently you can use mp4 formats as ringtones. Yet to try.

jamstercar I have this phone . The charger pins broke off the first time I charged it. the new charger is $30.00 plus taxes. If I new the charger had this issue I would never have bought it. No matter how gentle you are it breaks of the pins that conect to the phone.

Greicy i have a problem with connect my cellphone wiht my pc, if you have a software please send me, thank.

G dpm is right. This phone is brilliant and sturdy. I'm scared to buy another phone with my Christmas money incase it breaks within a few weeks. C'mon Nokia! Get your act together and bring out another phone like this but with bigger memory and a better camera, and I'll be very happy.
