GEORGE FLEMING This is the best mob. ph. ever launched by Motorola.I wud suggest everyone to buy dis ph. bcos it has almost everything i req.in my ph. i.e video recording,camera,bluetooth,mp3,edge,gprs....wat else u need..
walex57 well i haven't got the phone but i so much like it i've been dreaming of buying it. i should be getting it next week to be precise. but i want to ask if it is a symbian phone and what is the capacity of memory card it can use. can i install antivirus on it and other applications? this is the Best smart phone ever that i have seen.

Emma I bought sharp Gx17 for #17,000 in Nigeria 3 days ago, infact is absolutely fantastic and amazing.
My complain is just that I can't share programs (ringing tones, pictures) with my friends with other different phones like Sagem, Sony Ericsson and so on, through (Infrared). Pls I wouldn't mind if there is anything you can do for me just rectify all these difficulties.
I will also like you to tell me how I can disfigure this Vodafone configuration on it, so to enable me to configure it for another GSM network.

cg I think there is so many conflickting problems on here because:
NO.1 you dont use it properly
NO.2 you dont put what network you use it on because they all rebrand the phones(a problem you have on O2 you might not have on t-mobile)
No.3 you dont store things on the memery card.
No.4 you dont close files properly after use.
NO.5 You dont delete messages and emails.

Most Japanese handsets have the camera built-in on the BACK of the phone, as where most European models have it installed on the front cover.
It's definatelly there, check out some other pics off google!

accidentprone Hey ppls,
I'm having 2 problems
1.When i try to rotate my camera i find that it is kind of stiff....Any thoughts on how this can be fixed?
Second problem is: I have downloaded a couple of 30 second music sound clips to use as message tones...but why is it that the message tone will only alert for 10 seconds or less?
Any suggestions on how to extend the time if possible, maybe a program that shrinks the size of a music clip??? if 1 is available I am open to suggestions
